Description

Basic Overvie
Definition and Function: GCS switchgear is a Power distribution equipment used in power systems, mainly used to control, protect and isolate electrical equipment. It can ensure the safe and stable operation of the power system and prevent the expansion of faults.
Composition structure: GCS switchgear is usually composed of cabinet, circuit breaker, disconnector, grounding switch, current transformer, voltage transformer and other
components. These components are installed in the cabinet in a certain order and connected by wires to form a complete electrical circuit.
Working principle: Under normal working conditions, the circuit breaker is in the closed state, and the current flows to the load through the circuit breaker; when a fault is detected, the circuit breaker quickly trips to cut off the circuit; the disconnector and grounding switch are used to isolate and ground the equipment from the power supply during inspection or maintenance.
